The D3 has a deep face but is slightly smaller at 440 cubic centimeters, and the CG is closer to the face to help golfers work the ball. Both have a milled face insert with a thick internal trapezoidal ring in the center to improve ball speed. PLAYER COMMENTS: (m) "The ball sounds good coming off the face, but the club's not very forgiving." ... "Penetrating ball flight. It's a good all-around driver: perfect weight and feel." (L) "Classic, simple-looking head, just the right size. I like the sound: jumpy but not too loud. The D3's smaller head isn't as forgiving as some of the others."
